to this 0 Many times 49 errors are cause by print jobs that confuse the firmware of the printer. Best way to test is to remove the network cable from the printer and turn 49.4c02 error to continue turn off then on off and on. If it comes to ready see if you can print a config 49.4c02 service error hp 4350 page. If you can without error you need to go to the server or individual pcs and delete all jobs from the printq,

reattach the network cable and see what happens. Do not try to print the first job that was in any que. Most times an Adobe print job will cause the error. by dmzcompute on Dec 20, 2008 at http://h20564.www2.hp.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?docId=emr_na-c01733545 10:59pm Add comment Please sign in to comment 0 HOW DO YOU GET INTO THE SERVER AND DELETE ALL THE JOBS. I TRIED TO DO IT FROM THE PRINTER SCREEN IT SAYS NO JOBS WAITING. BUT THEN IT STILL PRINTS 2 PAGES AND THEN IT STOPS AGAIN AND GIVES ME THE SAME ERROR. by ijuarez86 on Oct 8, 2010 at 8:04am Add comment Please sign in to comment 0 I have 2 HP LaserJet 4250n in http://www.fixyourownprinter.com/posts/59799 one office one is for backup and the error:49.4C02 just append on one printer. any ideas that can help?many thanks by unknown on Jul 25, 2011 at 7:31am Add comment Please sign in to comment 0 Did you try what DMZ posted???Rob S by Rob S on Jul 25, 2011 at 9:30am Add comment Please sign in to comment 0 I have the same issue, 4250 dtn, but this solution didn't work. I've upgraded the firmware, reinstalled the PS Driver. The error is only coming from one of the workstations, all other computers can print to it just fine, even the same MS Access Report. But this one machine can print any other Word, Excel, PDF, or even another MS Access report from a different DB just fine. It's not the hardware. But it's also not the software. What to try next. It's a shared network printer. When I try to install it locally to that client machine, with an IP Port, it fails the install with 'print processor does not exist' I can do these steps just fine on other client machines.Dan by unknown on Mar 15, 2012 at 2:21pm Add comment Please sign in to comment 0 Dan lets look at this logically. If all other computers can print fine and you can load each locally except for this computer, your issue is the compute
Printers Join the Community! Creating your account only takes a few minutes. Join Now Today we have three printers with error code of 49.4C02 for HP P4014DN and P4015X printers. I tried to upgrade firmware, but ftp can not upload .rfu file. Can you suggest any https://community.spiceworks.com/topic/619596-error-code-of-49-4c02-for-hp-p4014dn-and-p4015x-printers alternative ways to upgrade firmware. Thanks. I checked here http://h20565.www2.hp.com/portal/site/hpsc/template.PAGE/public/psi/upgradeMigrateDisplay/?sp4ts.oid... It seems ftp is the only way. Make sure all documents have been removed from the printers' print queues, then reset the printers. You can sometimes view the offending document in the print queue and see that someone tried to print the same corrupted document, usually a PDF file, to each of the printers and that single c02 service error document is the source of your issue. 5 Jalapeno OP craigliu Oct 28, 2014 at 10:00 UTC Thanks for your response. But I still want to upgrade firmware firstly because our printers' firmware has never been upgraded since purchase. For our issue, if unplug the network cable, then the printer is OK. After plugging the cable, this error code will be displaying. 0 Anaheim OP jaib Oct 28, 2014 at 10:57 UTC Firmware update fixed that error for us for the majority of the HP's we had getting that error. We were able to update the firmware via the printer's management page. It was usually a pdf print triggering the code on printers with outdated firmware. 1 Datil OP DEngelhardt Oct 28, 2014 at 10:58 UTC Network cable? Does the Data light begin to flash when you plug in the cable? If so, spend more time finding the bad print job. A firmware update will not fix the bad print job. 1 Serrano OP Christina4185 Oct 29, 2014 at 11:40 UTC I had this happen to a Laserjet 3015 that was only a month old. It came out to be "a bad web page whose code is not up to par". 2 Jalapeno OP Best Answer craigliu Oct 29, 2014 at 8:37 UTC I fixed the issue in this way: move the printer in an isolation network, start it and find the IP of the prin
