the processor on the formatter to abort operation. This type of error can be caused by invalid print commands, corrupt data, or 49.4c02 service error hp 4700 invalid operations. In some cases, electrical noise in the cable can corrupt data during transmission to the printer. Other causes include poor quality parallel cables, poor connections, or homegrown applications. On rareoccasions, the formatter is at http://h20564.www2.hp.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?docId=emr_na-c01733545 fault, which is usually indicated by a 79 Service Error.1. to this 0 Many times 49 errors are cause by print jobs that confuse the firmware of the printer. Best way to test is to remove the network cable from the printer and turn off and on. If it comes to ready see if http://www.fixyourownprinter.com/posts/59799 you can print a config page. If you can without error you need to go to the server or individual pcs and delete all jobs from the printq, reattach the network cable and see what happens. Do not try to print the first job https://appuals.com/hp-printer-error-49-4c02/ that was in any que. Most times an Adobe print job will cause the error. by dmzcompute on Dec 20, 2008 at 10:59pm Add comment Please sign in to comment 0 HOW DO YOU GET INTO THE SERVER AND DELETE ALL THE JOBS. error hp I TRIED TO DO IT FROM THE PRINTER SCREEN IT SAYS NO JOBS WAITING. BUT THEN IT STILL PRINTS 2 PAGES AND THEN IT STOPS AGAIN AND GIVES ME THE SAME ERROR. by ijuarez86 on Oct 8, 2010 at 8:04am Add comment Please sign in to comment 0 I have 2 HP LaserJet 4250n in one office one is for backup and the error:49.4C02 just append on one printer. any ideas that can help?many thanks by unknown on Jul 25, 2011 at 7:31am Add comment Please 49.4c02 service error sign in to comment 0 Did you try what DMZ posted???Rob S by Rob S on Jul 25, 2011 at 9:30am Add comment Please sign in to comment 0 I have the same issue, 4250 dtn, but this solution didn't work. I've upgraded the firmware, reinstalled the PS Driver. The error is only coming from one of the workstations, all other computers can print to it just fine, even the same MS Access Report. But this one machine can print any other Word, Excel, PDF, or even another MS Access report from a different DB just fine. It's not the hardware. But it's also not the software. What to try next. It's a shared network printer. When I try to install it locally to that client machine, with an IP Port, it fails the install with 'print processor does not exist' I can do these steps just fine on other client machines.Dan by unknown on Mar 15, 2012 at 2:21pm Add comment Please sign in to comment 0 Dan lets look at this logically. If all other computers can print fine and you can load each locally except for this computer, your issue is the computer itself. You are having operating system errors which you need to rectify with a repair or fresh install on that computer. by dmzcompute on Mar 15, 2012 at 3:36pm Add comment Please sign in to comment 0 I have the 49 error on one of the printers and can't get rif off. i cleared the queue from the print server, and even trie
error in HP printers is a well-known error among users that halts all the operations being performed on the printer and asks for restart. The error when occurs is displayed on the printer screen. For some lucky users, this was only a one-time thing but for some it became a permanent headache rendering the printer unusable as whenever one would turn this printer on, the error would appear again within seconds. The 49.4C02 error and other similar errors have been largely attributed to the miscommunication between the target printer and the system that sent the print. That could be easily caused by certain PDF files one is trying to print or an outdated firmware version of that printer. In case of a PDF file print job, the printer will give display this each time it’s restarted unless that specific print job is cancelled from the computer it’s sent. In case of a network printer, it could become problematic tracing down the system that sent the print. Before proceeding with more complicated steps below, try turning the printer off and unplugging the power and the network cable (if connected). If networked, find which computer has a print job stucked in the printer que, and delete it, put the printer power back in and the network cable back in. Turn the printer back on and test. Solution 1: Upgrade Printer’s Firmware Firmware in a printer is similar to what Windows is to your computer. It is an operating system for a printer. Outdated firmware is the first suspect when this error occurs on an HP printer. Firmware updates are occasionally released for this exact reason i.e. to fix various bugs and errors in a printer similar to the one you are facing now. Before we continue, you will have to return the printer into Ready state. As this error generally appears due to a PDF file being sent to print, you will have to cancel that print job. If you are the only one sending the print, Press the Windows key and type Devices and printers. Click on Devices and Printers in the search results. Right Click on your printer installed and click See what’s printing. Right Click anywhere on the window that just opened and click Cancel All Documents. If it’s a network printer and you do not know who is sending the printer, simply Unplug the network cable from the printer to disconnect it from the network. Now Restart your printer and leave the network cable unplugged. Through Firmware Update Utility To update the printer’s firmware, firstly you will have to check the current
