that means that the scanner needs to be replaced. I have another hp 4 laying around that dosent print so I think I am going to take the scanner out of there. I was just wondering if anyone could 52 scanner error hp laserjet give me instructions on how excatly to go about opening up the printer and replacing the part.Thanks,-Jeff

Respond to this 0 You have to take the right side panel off first, there are 2 latches, one in front and one in the rear. hp laser printer error codes There are 2 screws holding the top in the back, and one under the toner lid. Last thing is to pop the 2 latches in the front with a small flat-bladed screwdriver. There is also a connector to the control panel. The scanner 52.0 scanner error hp laserjet p1007 is mounted with 4 screws. Make sure when you put it back together that the connectors are all firmly seated. There is no alignment for the scanner assy. I tried to remove the entire exit assembly but couldnt figure out how to get it off.
