you may need to retry patching IOS236. If the Wii was previously softmodded, you can try loading cIOS250 (or others like 202,222,223,224,236,249) In Multi-Mod Manager's main menu, go down to select "WAD Manager". Install the following WADs from the WAD folder (this list of WADs is unique to how you answered the Wizard's questions). Be careful not to install any additional wads that may have been previously saved in this folder (they may be safe, but I cannot say for sure). Hold + for 2 seconds to select all the WADs in the folder. Then Press A twice to install them all. If any files fail to install properly, they will remain marked for installation, so just retry installing those files. Your unique list of wads to install are as follows: * IOS11v16174(IOS60v6174[FS-ES-NP]) * IOS20v16174(IOS60v6174[FS-ES-NP]) * IOS30v16174(IOS60v6174[FS-ES-NP]) * IOS50v14889(IOS50v4889[FS-ES-NP]) * IOS60v16174(IOS60v6174[FS-ES-NP]) * IOS70v16687(IOS70v6687[FS-ES-NP]) * cIOS202[57]-v5 * cIOS222[38]-v5 * cIOS223[37-38]-v4 * cIOS224[57]-v5 * cIOS249[56]-d2x-v6 * cIOS250[57]-d2x-v6 * Mii-Channel-NUS-v6 * Photo-Channel-1.1-NUS-v3 * Shopping-Channel-NUS-v20 * Opera-Internet-Channel-NUS * Weather-Channel-NUS-v7 * NEWS-Channel-NUS-v7 * RVL-mios-v10 * IOS9-64-v1034 * IOS12-64-v526 * IOS13-64-v1

Now we need to remove it so we can install the custom IOS After copying the NAND back-up to your computer, go ahead and format the SD card with FAT32 again. You now need either the Uninstall IOS249_1.rar or UninstallIOS249_2.rar file. (Try number 1 first, then number 2. One of them will work.) Your SD card should now have the following in the root: Wad (folder) Bootmii (folder) Startup.elf Boot.dol 00000001 (folder, if available) Put the SD card back in the Wii and turn it on. If Bootmii was installed as boot2, WadManager will start automatically. If it was installed as an IOS, start the Homebrew Channel, press ”Home” on your Wiimote and select “Launch Bootmii” to start WadManager. Once WadManager starts, select IOS36, SD card (Wii SD slot) and press A. Now select IOS249.wad from the Wad folder and press A. Change the selected action to “uninstall wad” and press A. Now the stub is gone and we can again use IOS249 for our custom IOS. I tryed trucha

I believe that it is still operable, i.e. it is broken at a filesystem level. Is it possible to recover SD card somehow - may be force mount filesystem or force format SD card? My laptop is Dell Inspiron 1501, it has built-in SD reader. There is no problem with SD reader because it still operates on the other SD cards. Would you please advise me a commands sequence/shell script/program that can turn my SD card back to life -or at least make a some sort of diagnostic work? Thanks in advance, Alexander P.S.: lcpci shows the following ("broken" SD card is plugged in): Code: ...

Have you tried reading it on some other machine (I assume the answer is "yes", so read on!) Next, use try reading the partition table: sudo parted -l /dev/mmcblk0 What is the partition type?
