All the guides I've followed haven't fixed it. Does anyone know how to properly get DVDs and CD's to play on the Wii? When I run a DVDX installer, it always has an error which basically says it can't download a DVD Stub Ticket. Edited by The Prophet, 17 December 2009 - 09:27 PM. Dude, the chick's a MILF. Back to top #2 MasterGH Posted 18 December 2009 - 05:35 AM MasterGH Member Members 1,076 posts Just a quick clarification first, the Wii doesn't have a laser that can read CDs, so using DVDX will only allow DVDs.Also, I'm not sure why you're getting a network error when you try to install DVDX. The latest HackMii installer is basically what everyone uses for installing/updating the HBC/BootMii/DVDX, unless they're pirates, and this doesn't need to access the network at all to install. Give that a go if you aren't already.Another note, due to the changes that had to be made to the latest version of DVDX due to the 4.2 update, all apps that relied on it had to be updated to properly support DVDs again. With something like MPlayer CE for instance, you have to make sure you have the latest version 0.76 for it to work.
