In the development environment, Symfony catches all the exceptions and displays a special exception page with lots of debug information to help you quickly discover the root problem: Since these pages contain a lot of sensitive internal information, Symfony won't display them in the production environment. Instead, it'll show a simple and generic error page: Error pages for the production environment can be customized in different ways depending on your needs: If you just want to change the contents and styles of the error pages to match the rest of your application, override the default error templates; If you also want to tweak

Among the problems I've ran into is http://stackoverflow.com/questions/24717841/htaccess-problems-on-phplinkdirectory this: I have a page on a subdomain that has nothing to do with the directory. It's just a page I've had up for about a year that I earn a good profit from. It's actually got a higher error page PR than the homepage (3 vs 2) and I've got lots of links to it... I've got the page linked to like this: domain.com/folder When I uploaded the phpLD files I could no longer access this page by going to domain.com/folder - it came up with an error page. When I went to the page directly : domain.com/folder/index.html it worked perfectly fine. I found this quite strange... It was also not going to work of course because I have phpld error page so many links heading to the page without the index.html ... Anyway I removed the .htaccess (leaving everything else installed) as I thought it might be the culprit... it was. It works fine now that i removed .htaccess - of course the problem is - I'm sure that .htaccess must be important to the function of the directory... So my question is - Does anyone have any idea of how I can fix the .htaccess file so that it does not cause this problem. Is there any chance it's some sort of conflict that's only happening because of a setting within GoDaddy? Alright... it's 4 AM so I do give up for tonight. ... Thanks to anyone who can help me on this issue - I'll be checking in the morning! (?) But when I go to any other page I get a 500 server error. I believe this is due to problems with my .htaccess file, as if I delete the .htaccess file I get a 404 error when going to anything other than the home page. As an example, part of my .htaccess file looks like this: RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-l RewriteRule ^submit$ index.php?controller=submit [QSA,NC,L] I have tried making it look at the install directory on my server by changing it to this: RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-l RewriteRule ^submit$ /other_sites/abc.example.com/index.php?controller=submit [QSA,NC,L] n.b. /other_sites/abc.example.com/ is where the files are stored on my godaddy hosting account. The url of the directory is actually dir.gingercatgames.com What am I doing wrong with my .htaccess file? Update: The full .htaccess file is here: ####################################################### ## PHP Link Directory 5.x - Apache Server Settings ## ####################################################### # Disable directory browsing #Options -Indexes # Follow symbolic links in this directory #Options +FollowSymLinks # Override PHP settings that cannot be changed at runtime # (If your server supports PHP settings via htaccess you can comment following two lines off) # php_value register_globals 0 # php_value session.auto_start 0 # Cus
