Error Unable To Access Shell Manager
with Nero software 2 Pages 12> [Solved] Unable To Access Shell Manager Chala View Member Profile Mar 3 2010, 04:09 AM Post #1 Member Group: Members Posts: 26 Joined: 22-January 10 Member No.: 8,685,595 When I try and install Nero 9 Reloaded I get an error about 20% into the install, saying "unable to access shell manager" I just recently paid for Nero 9 Reloaded, and I I had to reinstall it on my computer due to an unrelated issue. I installed a new hard drive but still had my old drive with Nero files on it installed. I used the General cleaning tool to uninstall all files on my machine I even followed the removal instructions in post 18 of this thread http://forum.my.nero.com/index.php?showtop...l=Shell+Manager. more then once.I went as far as to uninstall my Anti Virus, Ad ware program and I disabled firewall. You have the free forum, free Online Support, and free e-mail to tech support. Also, turn your firewall back on. I don't think this affects the installation. Anti-virus and adware could.Did you initially install Reloaded on your old hard drive and are now trying to install on a new hard drive? If this is the case, then you might be fighting the issue that you can install a copy of Nero on only one computer. When you installed your new hard drive, you probably had to install the OS and now have a new registry. I would go to Online Support and ask them if they will reset your serial number. 7 premium after some time of installation a dialog box opens with "unable to access shell manager" and OK only.
