Everything was fine until out of the blue an Error popped up. It says ERROR, unable to bind TCP incoming server socket 16882 address family not supported by protocol family; bind. Im not sure what is going on because i dont think i changed any settings........my d/l speed was 200-300k now its cut to 100k.... is this error a big problem? has anyone else got this thing? cheers jwhizz, Oct 20, 2007 #1 jeffw224 Regular member Joined: Jun 26, 2007 Messages: 731 Likes Received: 0 Trophy Points: 26 Since everything was fine and changed, I would try a guess and say check Tools/Options/Plugins/UPnP and make sure it is disabled. (Azureus set it by default on mine). Since you have forwarded your ports, you do not need it and it can only cause trouble. Also, you should consider changing your port to one in the 49152-65534 range. Port is Blacklisted jeffw224, Oct 20, 2007 #2 jwhizz Member Joined: Oct 20, 2007 Messages: 2 Likes Received: 0 Trophy Points: 11 my UPnP is disabled. ive chnaged my port to 56882 And I have just realised my green smiley face has changed to yellow one. Ive checked all the UDP,TCP settings on my router and it is configured correctly. There is also another warning saying Listen server socket on 127.0.0.1:56882 does not appear to be accepting inbound connections. [connnection refused:connect] after this warning my d/l goes down to 20-30k any help would be much appreciated! jwhizz, Oct 20, 2007 #3 jeffw224 Regular member Joined: Jun 26, 2007 Messages: 731 Likes Received: 0 Trophy Points: 26 That error usually results from software firewall. Did you clear Azureus through your software firewall? Was it as a program or by port? jeffw224, Oct 21, 2007 #4 (You must log in or sign up to reply here.)
