Everytime I try to start up my Dell Inspiron Mini Notebook Laptop, I keep getting this Error; STOP: c000021a {Fatal System Error} The Windows Logon Process system process terminated unexpectedly with a status of 0xc0000022 (0x00000000 0x00000000). The system has been shut down. Could you please tell me how to fix it asap? The laptop has no floopy disk drive or CD Disk drive, and I can't access Safe Mode with Command Prompt. How do I get to the Command Prompt like this? If so, go to: http://forums.techguy.org/windows-xp/958475-corrupt-hd-need-save-data.html Then go down to the part re using a flash drive: You can also run from a USB device now - if the Machine supports booting off a USB Stick http://www.ubuntu.com/desktop/get-ubuntu/download full details are here http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windo...dows-computer/ I am not at all sure this will work. However, using Ubuntu to access an otherwise locked up computer is regularly recommended here at TSG. {redoak} redoak, Oct 27, 2010 #5 bbearren Joined: Jul 14, 2006 Messages: 3,775 Will F8 on boot not work to give you a boot menu? bbearren, Oct 27, 2010 #6 Sponsor This thread has been Locked and is not open to further replies. I am left with why is it the scans run ok on the drive, I can boot with the Linux based CD and I am able to see my data but Win7 wont boot with its own win7 disk??? I would prefer the lesser of reloading my entire system if there is a tri
