Apparently it stop c00002la fatal system error windows 7 the verification knowndll failed has something to do with winlogon or some mumbo-jumbo like that and there is no fix except for toss the entire heap of poo out. I don't want to toss my heap of poo out though, stop c000021a fatal system error I'm pretty fond of it. The weird thing is it's a clean HDD, there's no previous OS installed. I tried several clean HDDs, with the exact same result. The DVD works, so it's not that. I also tried removing RAM and switching the slots. So what it does is, after I get prompted to press any key (which I do), it goes on to loading files, then after a while the flashing

Is this a new install, all new or old parts? What components are they? m 0 l XistenZ 20 January 2014 07:45:12 I did clear CMOS, both with jumper and with taking out the battery for about an hour (not simultaneously of course). It's pretty old parts, the motherboard is "ASUS P5LP-LE", I have a Intel Pentium 3GHz in it and it uses DDR2 RAM. Going to look into flashing BIOS, I never really flashed anything successfully though, but I never tried motherboards (since they're pretty important stuff not to be fiddled with). I'll get back when I f/t-ried it! m 0 l Related resources Toubleshooting STOP: c000021a {Fatal System Error} - Forum c000021a {Fatal system error} - Forum c000021a Fatal system error when opening .mp3 file in Classic Media Player!!!!!!! - Forum c000021a STOP Fatal system error out of nowhere. - Forum C000021a {Fatal System Error} windows 7 - Forum Can't find your

I tried to fresh install windows 7 ultimate 64bit and also proffesional but it keeps popping the blue screen after the system restarts when the setup is done.(the laptop is 64bit) The http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-2021124/system-fatal-error.html name of the system's fatal error is c000021a but i got various statuses to that, for instance 0x00000001 0x00100538 then instead of 100538 i got 100488 and lastly a number ending in ....838 I tried looking these statuses up on the net but no one has ever encountered these particular statuses it seems.Their answer was reinstall windows e.t.c. I thought it might be an overheating problem but i'm not certain this might be the problem P.S. I used the same windows cd to other pc/laptops and it worked without any issues. It happens on Starting Windows screen. The latest one said something like this: Quote: STOP: c000021a {Fatal System Error} The initial session process or system process terminated unexpectedly with a status of 0x00000000 fatal system (0xc0000006 ...... another combination of integers and alphabets which i can't recall) The system has been shut down. And this is not it; I have been getting problems lately. 1. This Starting Windows screen stays for long time, so boot time has doubled (or even more) 2. Weeks back, my system went slow overall; I was going to post in here, but before that I ran my Anti-virus, ran defrag tool and these didn't help. Then check disk helped me and everything went like normal. When my system was fatal system error slow, opening any drive took very long and was really frustrating. And i was amazed when I used to close the window since it took too much time, and when it was time, that drive was explored in a new window. Also, I used to play movies, they used to get stuck in between... and that still happened after my system was faster, but it was kinda rare with some movies only. So now, I am confused about my system. I wonder if both problems are connected to eachother. I doubt it could be my HDD, though this system is just 1.5 years old. PS: I checked on the internet for HDD Diagnostics tool and found this: My PC's specs: Windows 7 64bit 8GB DDR3 RAM 1 TB WD HDD (Device manager reads this: WDC WD10EARX-22N0YB0 ATA Device) AMD Phenom X4 955 BE Please let me know if you require any information. EDIT: I just read, and I will try getting the BSOD error details when I face BSOD and post them here. Thank you.
