Lotus Notes File Does Not Exist Calendarprofile
(FAQ) Question When a user attempts to archive documents, an error message "File does not exist" is generated and archiving does not occur. This occurs when the destination NSF file (a_nameofdb.nsf) archive is not found by Lotus Notes in the designated directory. Either the database has been deleted, moved, or http://www-10.lotus.com/ldd/nd85forum.nsf/0/73ce57217b416ee585257983002d83d3 renamed. Answer You can use one of the options below to fix the problem. General Steps for both solutions 1. Determine where the archive file is expected to be by looking up the archiving properties File -> Database -> Properties -> Archive Settings-"Where do you want these documents archived to?" 2. http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21102884 Verify that the file is missing or has been renamed by using Windows Explorer. 3. Locate the named file in a different folder or directory. 4. Follow one of the options below based on whether the file was deleted, moved or renamed: Option number 1 Rename, move, or create the correct NSF file in the correct location. Option number 2 If the named file is found in a different folder or directory, change the location path under "Where do you want these documents archived to?" to the location where the NSF file exists. "File does not exist" for the DAOS enable mail database. Technote (troubleshooting) Problem When http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21507696 replicating the local mail file with the server copy of the mail file it gives the error "File does not exist" and then after no more replication http://superuser.com/questions/909908/lotus-notes-8-5-file-not-found works. On the replicator page it shows the error as below. In the local log.nsf it shows the below error. Cause This issue is seen on the file does DAOS enabled mail databases, where the .NLO file got missing or got deleted from the DAOS repository on the server. When users tried to replicate the local mail file with the server copy of the mail file it shows the below errors on the server console. 07/31/2011 05:33:07 PM Opened session for Admin Notes/Acme (Release file does not 8.5.2) 07/31/2011 05:33:07 PM The database C:\Lotus\Domino\data\mail\anotes.nsf attempted to access a missing file: C:\Lotus\Domino\data\DAOS\0001\10E8B8B90098E77E4D3541C8316AFBA2C6A98B4D000273F8.nlo: File does not exist Resolving the problem This issue can be resolved either restoring the missing .NLO file on the DAOS repository from the backup. OR running fixup -j -D on the affected mail database to delete the documents which has the missing .NLO file. The -j switch is for transaction logged databases and the -D switch will cause documents with DAOS tickets pointing to missing NLO files to be deleted. These documents are deleted without a deletion stub so they may replicate back in from the other server if you have replica.
