This issue occurred on my Samsung Galaxy SIII running Jelly Bean (4.1.1), but other devices may be affected. Upon accepting terms and conditions for applications, an error notification appears stating "Error processing purchase: [DF-BPA-10]". Find "Google Play Store" on the list (should be alphabetical) and tap it. Tap the "Force stop" button and confirm to close the application. Tap the "Uninstall updates" button and confirm. This will take the Play Store back to the factory version. Open up the Play Store and accept terms & conditions. You should now be able to install applications without the DF-BPA-10 error. share|improve this answer answered Dec 7 '12 at 16:59 Anthony Atkinson 1,2762922 add a comment| up vote 0 down vote I had same issue because of violating terms of service of google while using it's service, so Google wanted me to verify account before it would let me make purchases again. Uploaded it to google play and sent it to beta testers. When they try to make purchase then they receive Error retrieving information from server. [DF-PPA-10] error. We tried several accounts that are able to make purchases in Google Play. I did a test purchase with one of these accounts from another app and it works. If we use account with expired card or without card then Google Play asks to enter card or PayPal. The error usually doesn't allow users to download anything and the problem will reoccur with every attempt. This issue can be caused by a problem on Google's end. We've seen this error occur to massive amounts of Google Play users about once a month. So it is likely that you may just have to wait until the problem is fixed by Google and try to download an item from Google Play later. Other times, you may need to clear the data in the Google Services Framework. Follow these steps to see if it works for you. Open the "Settings" app. Tap "Applications". Select the "All" tab. Locate and tap "Google Services Framework". Select the "Clear data" button. Tap "OK" on the warning that appears. Although you may not have to, try restarting the device, then try to use Google Play. You should now have no problem downloading apps. Unfortunately the suggested fix didn't work. A successful workaround was that I tried using one of my alternate Google IDs and boom, it worked. I suppose that means that something is going on with my usual Google ID…let's see if it fixes itself in a few days.
