=== Hello I have the same problem. On Internet Explorer 6 run fine, but on actual versión of Firefox and Chrome it crash! - I have Ubuntu 10.04- Good day. Of course you should create backup

Posted by r.p.thomas on December 13, 2011 at 1:36pm A clean install of Drupal 7, plus devel, ctools 7.x-1.0 and views https://www.drupal.org/node/1369502 7.x3.0. I think I've enabled all the modules necessary to run views, but I get https://lists.drupal.org/pipermail/support/2012-December/023341.html the following error when I try to use views module: An AJAX HTTP error occurred. HTTP Result Code: 406 Debugging information follows. Path: /uktest/views/ajax StatusText: error ResponseText: 406 Not Acceptable Not Acceptable An appropriate representation of the requested resource /uktest/views/ajax could not be found on this server. /uktest is the sub folder on my testing server on which ive installed drupal 7. http error But the path on the debugging info is odd. /uktest is the root folder for this drupal installation, and there isn't a folder /views in the root. I tried a completely clean install of drupal 7 plus ctools plus views in another folder, but still got the same error. All my modules are up to date, and I've tried running jQuery update, but it makes no difference. A search on the problem says that it also occurs http error 406 when the security module is enabled, but I don't have that one. If anyone is willing to help troubleshoot, I can give (limited) access to my testing server. Or does anyone know of this problem? I'm new to Drupal, and things were going brilliantly until this snag.... KB Log in or register to post comments ⋅ Categories: Drupal 7.x Comments did you find a solution? But it's a bit of a shame to have to do that. Messages sorted by: [ date ] [ thread ] [ subject ] [ author ] Well that thought did occur to me. I didn't see anything too strange when I looked, but just to be sure I set up a fresh instance of Drupal in a sub directory of my hosting site and I got the error there as well. Also I set up an account on drupalgardens and was able to upload an image there and I my father has a web site with drupal installed and I was able to upload an image too. All cases from the same machine that I'm getting the 406 error. Thus it seems rather specific to this site. My time is about up with this hosting site and well since I don't have shell access where I'm at now, I figured might be a good time to move.
