But now, my company has bought our own server and I'm trying to set up DNN on it for the first time. I followed the same steps I always did, setting up a virtual directory, empty SQL database, blah blah blah....but when I browse to http://localhost/virtualdirectoryname/ it gives me a 503 Service Unavailable error. I also tried going straight to http://www.thewebaddress.com and I get the same thing. I've never messed with an actual server before....just remote hosting till now. I just keep getting this error no matter what I do. Is this a nameservers issue? IIS issue? Can somebody walk me through this please? Thanks a bunch!
