Followed online tutorial exactly httperror: 12029 came up, no solution. Help....--mx7nuser David C Johnson 2008-08-21 14:00:41 UTC PermalinkRaw Message I had the same problem testing the "URL Prefix" for a Site Definition (HTTP12029) of a PHP site. This troubled me for about 5 hours until I thought tocheck my firewall logs. I have some "free" plugins from WebAssist installed anddidn't like the way Dreamweaver started "phoning home" to WebAssist via TCP, soI had TCP outbound blocked for Dreamweaver. After adding a specific firewallrule to allow Dreamweaver to TCP/Outbound/Host=MyApplicationServer/Port=Any,HTTP 12029 went away. AND the firewall is still blocking the unsavoryphone-homes to WebAssist.(Come on WebAssist, even though the plugins are free, that doesn't make itright for you to track my trips to the bathroom!)
