I have a fully patched Windows 2008 R2 stand. ed. with IIS 7.5 and fully patched Windows 2012 stand. ed. with IIS 8. The problem exists on both machines. 1. Configure a HTTPS accessible website on IIS 2. Configure IIS to https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=170023 REQUIRE A CLIENT CERTIFICATE (see iis7.png), configure IIS to only allow TLS (see sslscan.png). 3. Make sure to import all needed root- and intermediate certificates in the certificate store of the local computer. 4: Import the client certificate in Chrome/IE, and the root- and intermediate certificates. 5: Try to connect to the website. What is the expected result? Chrome should be asking which certificate I would like to use to connect to the website. What happens instead? Chrome first tries to connect using TLS1.1, it fails and then tries to connect using TLS1.0, it fails and then it tries to connect using SSLv3, this protocol is disabled in IIS, and it fails with ERROR 101: net::ERR_CONNECTION_REST. And in the Windows Server Eventlog, an entry in the category SYSTEM is created with an SCHANNEL error (see schannel error.png) Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if possible. The SCHANNEL error in the eventlog is only created when Chrome tries to connect to this website. In all other browsers things are going perfectly well. Another strange thing is when I configure IIS to IGNORE CLIENT

Regards 👍 1 stamster commented Aug 30, 2016 Exactly. Such behaviour is odd. This validation needs to be self injectable. instead of: $validator->validate($_FILES); it should accept reference to a files from $this->request->getUploadedFiles() object. 👍 1 Sign up for free to join this conversation on GitHub.
