Basically what i'm trying to do is upload multiple files and then run a db query to add it's details to my db. I am going to add more sophisticated code later (like getting EXIF/IPTC data), but for now I just need it to grab the filename and insert into the db for each photo after it's uploaded. Trouble is i'm getting a HTTP 302 error. I've set this: $config['sess_match_useragent'] = FALSE; And I also put the following in my .htaccess file: SecFilterEngine Off SecFilterScanPOST Off But it caused the entire site to stop working, throwing up an 'Internal server error'. I really want uploadify to work, it's great, just a bit of a nightmare with Codeigniter! My code is below: Input in my view: My controller: public function do_upload() { //

Here is how I invoke uploadify: $(document).ready( function() { $('#upload_image').uploadify({ 'uploader' : '/templates/v2/uploadify/uploadify.swf', 'script' : http://stackoverflow.com/questions/7498638/jquery-uploadify-http-error-http-error-302 '/userimages.php', 'cancelImg' : '/templates/v2/images/cancel.png', 'folder' : '/images/uploads/1', 'auto' : true, 'fileExt' : '*.jpg;*.gif;*.png', 'fileDesc' : 'Image Files (.JPG, .GIF, .PNG)', 'removeCompleted' : false, 'buttonText' : 'Upload Image' }); }); PHP Code: if (!empty($_FILES)) { $tempFile = $_FILES['userfile']['tmp_name']; $targetPath = '/home/emailsms/app/images/uploads/' . $_SESSION['uid'] . '/'; $targetFile = $targetPath . $_FILES['userfile']['name']; move_uploaded_file($tempFile, $targetFile); switch ($_FILES['userfile']['error']) { case 0: $msg = ""; // comment this out if you don't want a message to appear on success. break; case 1: $msg = "The file is bigger than this PHP installation allows"; break; case 2: $msg = "The file is bigger than this form allows"; break; case 3: $msg = "Only part of the file was uploaded"; break; case 4: $msg = "No file was uploaded"; break; case 6: $msg = "Missing a temporary folder"; break; case 7: $msg = "Failed to write file to disk"; break; case 8: $msg = "File upload stopped by extension"; break; default: $msg = "unknown error " . $_FILES['userfile']['error'];

HTTP Error 302 using uploadify Share 0909077739 Posts: 0 I use uploadify to upload files into my web site. http://bolfa-janu1991.blogspot.com/2013/08/codeigniter-uploadify-showing-http-error.html It works with one hosting company. And doesn't with other company (sweb.ru). Error is: HTTP error: 302. Does Anybody know how to resolve this problem. Thanks.Categories: http error php, uploadify, http-error Share · Report · July 4, 2014 6:15 pm mrkul112 Posts: 0 As said, 302 is a redirect status code, so there is probably a redirection taking place somewhere along the line. You may have to ask the hosting company. My first suspicion would be that you're posting to a http error 302 domain that has forwarding activated, e.g. domain.com => www.domain.com. Share · Report · July 6, 2014 6:15 am robonho1 Posts: 0 Try this in the beginning of the entry-script: if (isset($_POST['PHPSESSID'])) { $_COOKIE['PHPSESSID'] = $_POST['PHPSESSID']; } The session component will then read the correct session id from the cookie as usual. i got this from Yii-framework forum Share · Report · July 6, 2014 8:15 am trangxjngxjng Posts: 0 Remember that you may have to stop the redirect. I'm using cakephp. To stop the auth from triggering when the uploadify / ajax method is called you have to add the following to the controller. public function beforeFilter() { parent::beforeFilter(); $this->Auth->allowedActions = array('admin_attach'); } "admin_attach" is the method that is called by uploadify in my view. $(document).ready(function() { $('.image-attach').uploadify({ 'uploader' : '/uploadify/uploadify.swf', 'script' : '/admin/featureds/featured_resources/attach/', 'cancelImg' : '/uploadify/cancel.png', 'buttonText' : 'Select image', 'fileDataName' : 'uploadify', 'auto' : true, onComplete : function(event, id, fileObj, resp, data){ alert(resp); } }
