I configured the snap-in to accept ANY connection but still cannot access the RWW. I have all of the necessary ports open so that is not a port issue Ports 444 3389 4125 80 8080 Any ideas would be appreciated Sponsored Links 05-21-2009, 09:30 PM #2 Larry Struckmeyer [SBS MVP] Guest Posts: n/a Re: HTTP Error 403.6 using https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/248043 Remote Web workplace Could be a lot of things. What version of SBS? When you setup the SBS did you run the CEICW? If yes, what did you put in for the CERT? If an ip address, is that a static ip address? If a DNS record, is there a public DNS record for that url, as in mail.yourdomain.com, in which case the address would be: https://mail.yourdomain.com/remote BTW, ports http://www.techtalkz.com/windows-help/27878-http-error-403-6-using-remote-web-workplace.html needed for RWW are 443,444,4125, and 444 only for sharepoint. 25 is needed for exchange smtp mail. 80 is usually a no-no here, and 3389 is for RDC, not RWW. 8080 is not needed unless you have a special need. -- Larry Struckmeyer Get your SBS Health Check at www.sbsbpa.com "SOLONY"

Your understanding is greatly appreciated! From your description, I understand the issue to be: you received 403.6 - IP address rejected error message when tried to access the RWW site. If I am off base, please don't hesitate to let me know. The 403.6 error shows the incoming IP address is not in the safe list. It could be a mis-configuration of network or IIS. Before we go further, please help me collect some information to isolate the issue: 1. Does the issue happen on the workstation in LAN or from internet?
