HTTP Error 403 - Forbidden. Version Information:ASP.NET Development Server 10.0.0.0 Looking at my IIS Manager for v7.5, my DefaultAppPool has the status 'Started', uses .NET Framework https://forums.iis.net/t/prev/1201711 v4.0 (as it should), Managed Pipeline Mode is 'Integrated' and Identity is 'ApplicationPoolIdentity'. When I try to run my MVC3 project from VS2010, this DefaultAppPool shows 1 application running. ASP.NET Developer Server is running. I ran asp_net regiis -i in my framework directory as administrator. Now, I'm out of ideas. What could be causing this and how do I fix it? thanks, Paul Reply jeff@zina.co... 4640 Posts MVPModerator Re: 403 Forbidden error when debugging solution from VS2010 Sep 27, 2013 04:16 PM|jeff@zina.com|LINK Who is running the application? Are you sure? It is likely running under either your login or the application pool ID. The account running the applicfation needs permission to the files/folders in the application.
