your account only takes a few minutes. Join Now Hello, so in IIS 6.0 I created a virtual directory and pointed the location to a web site I designed in visual studios. The path is located in: C:\Inetpub\wwwroot. I'm trying to figure out why when I access the website I get a HTTP Error 403 Forbidden message. Most likely causes are that this webside requires a login. I searched google and am striking out thus far. Normal shake and bake as to how we are setup. AD and a windows environment. Anyone have any pointers for me as to how to get this website up and running? Thanks in advance! In the documents tab it was mot reading default.aspx but only default.asp. So I had to add in default.aspx and hit apply and BAM! Works now. Of course the head SA came over and fixed the problem in order 2 minutes. Made me look like a complete and I wasted 3-4 hours trying to figure this out. 0 This discussion has been inactive for over a year.
