Http Error 502 Bad Gateway Freenas
welshys Joined: Oct 26, 2013 Messages: 7 Thanks Received: 0 Trophy Points: 1 Hi All I've setup several plugins working all harmoniously until we had a power surge last night and the freeNAS box lost power. On restart everything came back online except the sabnzbd service. Every time I try and turn the service on I get this, any help would be awesome, I'm totally new to all this so not sure how to troubleshoot, if there are some commands I can input to check please let me know. Thank you so much!: Oct 26 11:28:30 freenas manage.py: [common.pipesubr:57] Popen()ing: /usr/local/bin/warden list -v Oct 26 11:28:31 freenas last message repeated 4 times Oct 26 11:28:31 freenas manage.py: [plugins.utils:87] Couldn't retrieve http://192.168.1.66/plugins/sabnzbdplus/1/_s/status: HTTP Error 502: Bad Gateway Oct 26 11:29:01 freenas manage.py: [common.pipesubr:57] Popen()ing: /usr/local/bin/warden list -v Oct 26 11:29:15 freenas last message repeated 5 times Oct 26 11:29:16 freenas manage.py: [plugins.utils:87] Couldn't retrieve http://192.168.1.66/plugins/sabnzbdplus/1/_s/status: HTTP Error 502: Bad Gateway Oct 26 11:29:49 freenas manage.py: [common.pipesubr:57] Popen()ing: /usr/local/bin/warden list -v welshys, Oct 26, 2013 #1 cyberjock Moderator Moderator Joined: Mar 25, 2012 Messages: 19,100 Thanks Received: 1,639 Trophy Points: 161 Bad gateway is a network configuration problem. So either the configuration is bad, or you have a problem with your network(perhaps related to the power surge). I'll say this just once... running FreeNAS without a UPS is a recipe for disaster. You should have a UPS so that the system can shut down properly on a loss of power. You are luck as some users have not had a UPS and when power came back they lost their pool and all of their data. Don't be a statistic! Hardware recommendations • RAID5/RAIDZ1 is dead Read my guide! It answers common questions newbies to FreeNAS have. Only you can prevent flame wars! Read the FreeNAS manual. This in itself isn't a big deal, but also am unable to access the plugin settings since the GUI doesn't know that it's running. The actual service is working just fine, it's just a GUI issue. I get a generic "Some error occured" message.
