Wordpress Http Error 2016
If none of this seems to help, could you add the following to your site's wp-config.php file, then try to upload an image, and check the wp-content/debug.log file for errors? define('WP_DEBUG', true); if ( WP_DEBUG ) { @error_reporting( E_ALL ); @ini_set( 'log_errors', true ); @ini_set( 'log_errors_max_len', '0' ); define( 'WP_DEBUG_LOG', true ); define('WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY', false); define( 'CONCATENATE_SCRIPTS', false ); define( 'SAVEQUERIES', true ); } Once you have an error, you can replace define('WP_DEBUG', true); by define('WP_DEBUG', false); in the code above. Let me know what you find. JohnP @johnp 8 months, 4 weeks ago Sorry for the delay - I'm travelling and internet is only available sporadically. I've just updated to Jetpack 3.9.1, but the problem persists. I have manually replaced all the WordPress files via FTP Uploads work fine when Jetpack is de-activated, so I assume my settings are OK. Http Error Wordpress Godaddy
I registered it! The domain is: "www.competaid.com". This error cropped up last night. While uploading two different images for my first post I received this error a few times, but after https://wordpress.org/support/topic/http-error-on-media-upload-7/ trying 3 or 4 times the images eventually uploaded successfully. The error became consistent when trying to upload a 17.2MB texture to replace my current body background. I did not make any major changes to my website between the events described so I don't know what could have went wrong! I have tried: 1) Uploading a different (smaller) image 2) Flushing cache 3) Clearing https://wordpress.org/support/topic/http-error-while-uploading-media-2/ browser's cache, cookies, etc… 4) Deactivating all plugins. Note: My maximum upload size is 64MB so that shouldn't be a problem. Also, my WordPress, plugins, theme, etc… are all the latest versions. Modified on March 15, 2016 by Anand 31 Comments Published On: March 23, 2013 Share: As you may know WordPress and Genesis Theme Framework are the workhorses behind htpcBeginner. I was trying to write a new article and out of the blue I started getting the infamous WordPress HTTP Error while trying to upload images. If you search around you will find a lot of bloggers stuck in this situation. The thing that boggles me is that nothing was changed in WordPress and any relevant file and everything worked fine about an hour ago. If you are in the same boat as I was please read on to find how to fix WordPress HTTP Error. A quick note that while tried several methods (also listed), I describe in detail about only the fix that worked for me on GoDaddy hosting. WordPress HTTP Error During Media Upload WordPress HTTP Error Fixes The first two fixes did not work for me but have for some people. 1. Disable Flash Uploader WordPress comes with a nice Adobe Flash based image uploader. It is fancy, however, has found to cause problems with some WordPress installations. So one of the very first approaches is to disable the Flash uploader and try the regular uploader. The easiest way to achieve this is using the No Flash Uploader plugin. No Flash Uploader Plugin Install the plugin, and try to upload an image. If the problem persists then move on to the next fix. 2.
