Doug Holtz NOSPAM in adress Guest Hello; My sister spilled water on the back left corner of her TP 600 (2645-51U). Now it won't boot; we go into the diagnostics mode and the main board has an error code: DEV 086 ERR 22 FRU 0010 Other info is: Main screen starts up with "ERROR 08611". Can anyone help me find out what these codes mean and how to fix this? I'm working on a IBM Thinkpad 380XD, and, I'm stumped here. The onboard mouse refuses to work, and plugging in a ps/2 mouse doesn't have any effect. I figgured there was probably soemthign wrong with the board. I eventually got to an error checking utility, which i used on the System board. It reported the following information, precluded by a very ominous looking "X" icon next to the system board icon: DEV 086 ERR 22 FRU 0010 A search on google came up with a russian forum where someoen had the same problem, but i don't think anyone answered him/her. But that was it; IBM's website was less than helpful. Even looking around here, I didn't find anything. Should I tell my customer he's SOL? Because right now the motherboard seems to have a

On boot I get the error code I9990305: No bootable device. BIOS doesn't recognize HDD. I took the drive out and put it in my tower and it mounts just fine. Checked it and re-formatted it just to make sure. This problem occurred when I took the drive out to test/replace it with a larger used one which also didn't mount and later found to have bad sectors. I stuck the old HDD back in after I could not get the other one to mount and then/now this one won't mount. Not sure what else to do at this point. Any help is welcomed and appreciated.
