If you click "Configure" next to Memos, you can choose whether to perform a one-way sync from your computer to your smartphone, or a two-way sync between both devices. After selecting your Outlook profile from the options, check "Memos" and then click "Sync" in the bottom right to transfer your notes. Exchange ActiveSync If you have an Exchange account, you can add your mailbox to your BlackBerry and sync your notes to your smartphone. Open "Settings" and then touch "Accounts." Choose "Advanced" from the bottom of the screen and then select "Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync" to set up your mailbox. Once you've filled out the form with your account information, you can check "Sync Memos" on the next screen to copy your notes from Outlook. Here's the problem that I was having with my Blackberry Bold 9700 (OS6) sync using Blackberry Desktop Manager (BDM) version 6.1.0.35: An error popped up "Conflict Resolution - Calendar": then: No matter which option I selected, it resulted in this 0x80040fb3 error message (and also0x8004fceb): intellisync error At a later date I also got an error: "Blackberry Intellisync error 0x8004fceb - Flexible Web Services" The following forum helped with lots of options to try - but none helped. I decided to play with the mappings and I noticed that the conflicts always failed when the "Attendees" field was listed… So I tried UNmapping that field: Organiser->Configure settings->Advanced->Map Fields-> then intellisync error blackberry UNmap the ‘Attendees' field as shown in the screen shots below: (Note: The "Reset" button also works) Retry the sync process and it worked! :) :) If thisdoesn'twork for you then perhaps this info from the Blackberry Forums will: http://www.blackberryforums.com/rim-software/137009-help-dm-sync-error-0x80040fb3.html For more info - when the sync was failing the following appeared in the log file (not that it helped me much!): The log file: "c:\Users\{YourName}\AppData\Roaming\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Intellisync\{YourBB_PIN}\RIM.Log" contained the following info and error: " Field mapping used for translation: Microsoft Outlook Device Subject ------------------------- Description Title Start Date ---------------------- Start Date Start Time ---------------------- Start Time End Date ------------------------ End Date End Time ------------------------ End Time Alarm Date ---------------------- Alarm Date Alarm Time ---------------------- Alarm Time Reminder Set Flag --------------- Alarm Flag Body ---------------------------- Notes Show Time As -------------------- Free Busy Location ------------------------ Location Private ------------------------- Private Meeting Attendees --------------- Attendees Unable to write application data record. Solved Blackberry won't sync with Outlook 2007 (Intellisync Error) Posted on 2009-09-27 Components Outlook BlackBerry 1 Verified Solution 12 Comments 760 Views Last Modified: 2012-05-07 Hey Everyone, I am helping a friend who is trying to sync his new blackberry with Outlook 2007. His BB Curve completely crashed on him, he couldn't get a new curve, so he had to get a BB Tour. When he tries to Sync the Tour, he gets an error message from the Blackberry desktop manager that just says (Intellisync Error). I have tried to walk him through a bunch of solutions to try and get this working, but no success yet. I have tried to have him uninstall the BB DM software completely and reinstall, tried to reconfigure the synchronization within BB DM, confirmed permissions for the registry entry (HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{10A31DA6-8BF9-4767-9C2E-E4C4F4FF2310), deleted the C:\Documents and Settings\[user_name]\Application Data\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\intellisync folder...etc. I've come to the idea that maybe it's not a BB issue and maybe it's an Outlook issue...I want to try to have him back up his outlook, remove all his info, and try to sync his BB. Then, reload his .pst files and see if it works. I just don't want to try this without knowing what I'm doing. I have already made a copy of his outlook.pst file on an external drive. But how do I remove this file from outlook? Do I just highlight and delete? I just want him to be able to reload the data without losing
