book only) and during the sync, it would appear close to finishing and then a window would pop up with "Intellisync" at the top and an error message that reads: "Connector specific error". There are probably a lot of different reasons why this may occur for you, but for me it was a matter of running out of space on the device. I had alot of pictures that it was trying to sync to the device and it had given me a "failure" message on syncing them earlier before I synced the address book. All I did is moved the pictures from My Pictures/Blackberry to a folder on the desktop and resynced. Worked fine. software 3 times, and spent most of the day trying to find a solution in the support forums with no luck. When I try to sync the calendar I get http://www.smartgsmtalk.com/blackberry-trouble-syncing-connector-specific-error_86CYu8YJ.html a "Connector Specific Error" and the sync fails. My search of this forum has uncovered a knowledge base document referring to a debug fix, however I am not a developer and http://www.labhc.com/bb-storm-9500-intellisync-connector-specific-error-when-sync/ have no idea how to do this. Is there a fix that the average person can do, or do I need to go back to good old paper & pen (sorry intellisync error - that's the frustration coming out). syncing device (BB storm 1 9500) the device and the computer talk and compare each others records. When I click accept changes I get an error message from Intellisync "Connector specific error" and synchronization stops. I have checked my wife's device (BB storm 1 9500) and this problem does not occur. I use the same USB port, cable, and folder with all the same options. I therefore assume it is a fault with my device.
