I have no payroll accounts. nimzpaul × Close Why do you want to report this? Spam Profanity Threats/Abuse Inappropriate Virus/Danger Broken Links Other I already had the latest IE11. I added https://support.quickbooks.intuit.com as a trusted site, then reset the updates in QB. Ran the updates and they all came through with no errors. FWIW: Solution 3: Update your Windows security certificate. Time estimate: 10 minutes; is a dead link. nimzpaul × Close Why do you want to report this? Spam Profanity Threats/Abuse Inappropriate Virus/Danger Broken Links Other Back to search results Error #15270 in New Features section Ages ago I updated QuickBooks and ended up with an error code 15270 in the New Features section. I looked online then and found guides on how to reset the updates (such as http://support.quickbooks.intuit.com/support/Articles/SLN41472 and http://support.intuit.ca/quickbooks/en-ca/iq/Update-QuickBooks/Error-15270--The-update-did-not-compl...) but both of them seem to be talking https://community.intuit.com/questions/1029168-how-do-i-fix-error-15270 about payroll. I don't have payroll installed and the instructions haven't changed anything.I had another go today but have got no further. Can anybody assist on how I can clear this error code, please? Spam Profanity Threats/Abuse Inappropriate Virus/Danger Broken Links Other Answer You Reset Updates, get the download, then exit the program. When you next open it, if there are any updates to install, it will prompt you then. But you ran the manual update patch, so I think this ship has sailed. Was this answer helpful? IT is not, after all, in the essential updates section. Perhaps when there are more new features then it will patch properly. Any thoughts?
