BTW if you re going to post the back door to your copier over the internet you may want to change the Admin password. I have been able to log in a view properly. A new connector has been created on our Exchange 2010 server konica minolta scan but we keep getting 'Server Connection Error' (error code 57) when testing scan to email (direct input to a destination within our domain). The ldap connection tests successfully so we're on the network ok (I can connect via PageScope) but I've tried various settings to get scan to email to work - all to no avail - and the trouble is: I've been looking/trying so many options my brain's turned to soup and I can't see the wood for the trees anymore! Do you know if it should work ok with Exchange 2010? Creating your account only takes a few minutes. Join Now OK...I've spent enough time banging my head on this one, time to ask for directions. So my customer just leased a new copy machine and it refuses to scan to e-mail on the first attempt. If I scan the same document 6 times in a row(back to back), it succeeds the 2,3,4,5 and 6 time. Their old Sharp copier never had this issue. I've tried every combo of MX server, credentials, SSL or no SSL, port number, IP address vs. hostname, ext DNS servers, SAME OUTCOME. I've adjusted the Connection Time Out within the copy machine to 120 seconds, same effect. If I hook it up to their guest network which just uses some old junky Linksys router, it works OK. They have 5 statics from the ISP so the guest network has its own, and secure network is on another, but same modem. There is a Sonicwall being used as the router for the secure network and I've let loose any type of Access Rule that could be hampering the scan from being sent out(that I see anyhow, not a Sonicwall master). Anybody have any suggestions? I am grasping at straws at this point. The thing that bothers me is the fact that it works after the first attempt if you send several scans back to back. I'd rather it not be sending at all, truth be told. Let me know if you need other info from my end too. I would suggest that the scanner seems to be possibly waiting for a second page before submitting the scanned job to the email queue. Check your logs in the following location to see what is happening to the failing scans. 1 Jalapeno OP Teemoo May 9, 2014 at 1:53 UTC Thanks Warren. Attached is my log. I have a good feeling it is something in the Sonicwall since when I hook it up to the other network with basically a home router it works OK. I can't stand not finding solutions in a timely matter. It keeps me up at night. a.PNG (71 KB) 0 Chipotle OP Warren.Wagener May 9, 2014 at 2:31 UTC I would also agree with that. Possibly need to setup a rule specific to the
