It occurs on different servers every time, I am guessing due to the scheduled reboot randomization. Once I reboot the servers they are fine and users can log into them again. No changes have been made to the image in months. There have been 3 more servers added to the farm but, that was 2 months before these issues started. There are also no errors in the event logs on any of the servers listed below. The Xenapp servers are: Windows 2003 SP2 - X

I looked through the forums and couldn't find a specific resolution.I get this error everytime I try to restart the Terminal Services service from services.msc.These are virtualized servers running in a VMWare environment (ESXi) and the other 3 servers are working without any problems. No updates were applied to the server and it was working fine yesterday. When I go to MMC > Terminal Services Config > Licensing Diagnosis it says we have 140 Cals for TS and it doesn't display any problems or warnings. It says it did not identify any licensing problems for the terminal server. I cannot seem to find a way to correct this issue and it is now overloading our other 3 servers plus we have 1 published app on this server that is now unavailable that we need to use daily.Has anyone run into this problem before and if so do you have any ideas on how to resolve it? I would prefer not to pay the 800 per case for Citrix to help with this problem.I have attached s

Users attempting to connect http://arstechnica.com/civis/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=651786 to a XenApp server might experience the following Terminal Services related errors in the Event Log: Event ID: 1003Source: TermServiceType: InformationThe terminal service client has provided an invalid license error license. Event ID: 1004Source: TermServiceDescription: Unable to acquire a license for user name, domain name. For more information, see Microsoft TechNet articles - TS Licensing Step-by-Step Guide and Troubleshooting Terminal Server Licensing. Background With Microsoft (both regular Client Access License (CAL) and Terminal Services CAL) licenses, before an ICA connection is established (the GINA logon pop-up), the client citrix license error license must be confirmed to exist and be valid. Note: Windows XP Professional workstations do not have built-in CALs with respect to Windows 2003 Terminal Server License Servers. When there is insufficient permissions to the following registry key, connection failures occur. Investigate the Microsoft Terminal Services License manager to see if the workstation is enumerated. If the workstation is not enumerated, then this issue is on the Windows OS level. For more information, contact Microsoft Technical Support and verify that your Windows 2003 Terminal Licenses are activated. Symptom-1 When connecting with a Citrix ICA Client after downloading a Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) web client, the RDP client might not exhibit any issues and continue to connect. Cause-1 The Event Log does not specify the client device that provided the invalid license. Insufficient permissions are being applied to the Microsoft license key in the registry for the Authenticated Users group. When testing, attempt to create an RDP connection after removing the MSLicense key in th
