I get the following error: "Microsoft Outlook had problems encrypting this message because the following recipients had missing or invalid certificates, or conflicting or unsupported encryption capabilities:" The recipient is in my contacts list and has a digital ID/certificate. I have explicitly trusted this http://superuser.com/questions/655707/cannot-send-encrypted-message-to-others-using-outlook-2010 certificate. When I made the email I filled the "To:" field using the exact contact from the Contacts list. If I right click on the recipient and choose "Lookup Outlook contact", their card comes up. If I then select "Certificates", it shows the certificate for the recipient and it is a valid and up-to-date certificate. I am able to send encrypted messages to myself. How can I find out the precise problem that is causing the error? email microsoft-outlook microsoft-outlook-2010 encryption certificate share|improve this question asked Oct 7 '13 at 22:37 Tyler Durden 93641330 Did you ever solve this? If so, how? If not, does wiping out the email address in the To field and retyping it in work for you? I have the same issue and that's what I have to do... –TTT Jun 4 '14 at 2:46 I sort of solved this problem by getting a special kind of certificate called a "PKI", then I had to go to this special Department of Defense site and download ALL of their authority thingies, which took a long time. After that I could do it. It was a true pain in the ass. –Tyler Durden Jun 4 '14 at 2:49 add a comment| 4 Answers 4 ac
this great app called gnubox for sharing my pc internet connection to my phone. Seems like currently there http://www.howardforums.com/printthread.php?t=1003702&pp=15&page=8 is no gnubox version for s60v3 phones nevermind specific to the N73. Anybody know if anyone will actually work on it? Are there any other options? 09-17-2006, 06:34 AM PapaDocta till now there is no other option i guess... and the developer of this application is not willing to port it at this time... at least that's what he told me... 09-18-2006, 09:23 AM ynohtna_lude hum... I guess it's just a microsoft outlook matter of time? S60v3 is still somewhat new? 09-18-2006, 04:13 PM J.Bruha Yeah, but the developers have to be willing to port the program over. So, in this case, the only "matter of time" is if that programmer would be willing to give up the source code and give it to somebody that IS willing to port it. Shot in the dark if you ask me. 09-18-2006, 05:28 PM ynohtna_lude microsoft outlook cannot oh it's not even open source? I thought it was. Kinda sucks if he won't give it out to someone who wants to do it (if there exists one :)) 09-18-2006, 05:38 PM PapaDocta i believe it's an open source... http://www.symbianos.org/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/gnubox/ and here is his email to me Quote: Hello, well, I don't have an n73 device unfortunately... there are 3rd edition binaries, for the n70 and n90, you have good chances to be able to run these on your device (given that it is series60). sry i don't really know what an n73 is like... :( unfortunately I currently have no spare time to create new ports. But it might not be a big deal, so feel free to download the sources and look into it. regards, -xan- 09-19-2006, 01:09 AM tyronewheatley ok where are all the computer programmers in here??
