Solved Outlook 2007 crashing multiple times a day Posted on 2011-02-05 Outlook 5 Verified Solutions 20 Comments 1,688 Views Last Modified: 2012-05-10 I have a user that has been having issues with Outlook crashing. It was happening multiple times an hour until we we http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/msoffice/forum/msoffice_install-mso_other/outlook-crash-error-7001/af9b38a1-1f36-4020-ab3c-5bea582febd0 fixed a secondary POP email address that was failing to send properly. But it is still happening a couple of times a day at least. Seems to be 4 or 5 typically per day. The user is of course the owner of the company so I would like to get to the bottom of this as soon as possible. I have checked the hard drive for errors, checked for viruses and such and everything seems https://www.experts-exchange.com/questions/26800673/Outlook-2007-crashing-multiple-times-a-day.html fine. My copy of Outlook keeps crashing after only about 60 seconds of operation. I checked the error logs, and I see: ID: 6, Application Name: Microsoft Office Outlook, Application Version: 12.0.6514.5000, Microsoft Office Version: 12.0.6425.1000. This session lasted microsoft outlook 33 seconds with 0 seconds of active time. This session ended with a crash. Source: Office 12 Sessions Event ID: 7001 I will also see the error where the session ends with a hang, event ID of 7002. Either way, it's made my Outlook nigh unusable. Now, to this point, I totally changed my AV from mcafee to MS Security Essentials, to eliminate the mail scanner as a possibility. microsoft outlook error I have also disabled all outlook add-ons, and tried running outlook in safe mode. same error. I did try running the office 2007 diagnose and repair tool, also did not help. Google search also said to remove and re-add your mail accounts, but I don't use Outlook for mail, just for calendar and contacts to sync with Blackberry. SO.... after all my ramblings... anyone have any other ideas?
