I get the following error: "Microsoft Outlook had problems encrypting this message because the following recipients had missing or invalid certificates, or conflicting or unsupported invalid certificate outlook 2010 encryption capabilities:" The recipient is in my contacts list and has a digital ID/certificate. I have explicitly trusted this certificate. When I made the email I filled the "To:" field using the exact contact from the Contacts list. If I right click on the recipient and choose "Lookup Outlook contact", their card comes up. If I then select "Certificates", it shows the certificate for the recipient and it is a valid and up-to-date certificate. I am able to send encrypted messages to myself. I went to a few sites that suggested adding entries from the GAL to contacts, this didn't work. I'm sure it's something simple that I'm just not doing. Suggestions or experience with this? That is on non-like servers (someone from inside sending to someone outside). You may need to publish your certs to the GAL and then you can send encrypted to each other - that is how it is done with PKI systems. 0 Poblano OP Rob2084 Mar 6, 2013 at 6:34 UTC Thanks. I don't have an environment that is not PKI enabled to see if you have the option to publish to the GAL. http://www.ehow.com/how_7370016_send-encrypted-email-outlook.html This one tells you about the configuration of the cert and then sending the emails between people so the public cert of each person is exchanged. 0 Poblano OP Rob2084 Mar 6, 2013 at 7:01 UTC Thanks. Works great now to send encrypted emails between users on the domain. 0 This discussion has been inactive for over a year. You may get a better answer to your question by starting a new discussion.
