Question by Ken Amelio ( 618) | Nov 03, 2015 at 09:31 AM bpmerrordatabaseoraclejvm I am installing BPM using an Oracle database which must be declared does not enable Oracle JVM. The below Knowledge Center documentation indicates that the JVM is not required by the BPM built-in functionality, but I am still getting an error when trying to do so: http://www-01.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SSFPJS_8.5.6/com.ibm.wbpm.imuc.sbpm.doc/topics/db_xa_oracle_nd_win.html?lang=en The Oracle JVM is not required for IBM Business Process Manager built-in functionality. The following steps are required only if your own applications require the Oracle JVM feature. The error I am getting reads: Caused by : org.springframework.jdbc.BadSqlGrammarException: StatementCallback; bad SQL grammar [ select table_id from lsw_tabl where rep_status > 0 or rep_status is null for update]; nested exception is java.sql.SQLException: ORA-06550: line 1, column 14: PLS- 00201: identifier 'JAVA_XA.XA_START_NEW' must be delcared" People who like this Close 0 Comment 10 |3000 characters needed characters left characters exceeded Viewable by all users Viewable by moderators Viewable by moderators and the original poster Viewable by all users 1 reply · Add your answer Sort: Accepted answer Answer by Ken Amelio (618) | Nov 03, 2015 at 09:33 AM This error occurs when using the Oracle thick client JDBC driver. The thick client makes use of the Oracle JVM in its interaction with the Oracle database. If you instead use the thin client JDBC driver then the issue will not occur. http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E11882_01/java.112/e16
