The hosts are two 2008R2 servers, so KB953828 does not apply (even tried but it won't install). I built a new cluster but applying the settings fails; can't reach host, error 0x800706ba. Turns out that as soon as NLB component gets active on the NIC the NIC looses it's gateway address. Setting it again does not work, it disappears again after closing the properties screen. Tried emulated and synthetic network cards, I set the MAC address on static and put in the address that NLB manager sets. Any suggestions? Moved the VM to another hyper-v host without broadcom teaming. There it works fine. So BACS is making the nlb fail. Back to the drawing board... Thanks for the suggestions anyway.
