In it is a set of commands to help install the correct version of libcurl swaterhouse View Public Profile Send a private message to swaterhouse Find all posts by swaterhouse #4 13-11-2007, 19:08 SharkCZ Member Join Date: Apr 2006 Posts: 36 The libcurl in RHEL/CentOS 4 is too old for Zabbix. So you can build Zabbix without web-monitoring support or you must build newer libcurl yourself. SharkCZ View Public Profile Send a private message to SharkCZ Find all posts by SharkCZ #5

I already have curl the program on my http://stackoverflow.com/questions/25098045/where-are-the-curl-libraries computer (a Ubuntu 13.04 box.) haskell curl config ghc cabal-install share|improve this question asked Aug 2 '14 at 18:16 PyRulez 3,30022152 add a comment| 2 Answers 2 active oldest votes up vote 7 down vote accepted You need to install the development files for curl. If you are on Ubuntu Linux, then: $ sudo apt-get install libcurl4-gnutls-dev And then do the normal cabal installation of curl as usual. share|improve this answer answered Aug 2 '14 at 18:40 Sibi 23k64797 add a comment| up vote 1 down vote Search in your package manager for libcurl. libcurl is the library required for the installation, and once install should be located in /usr/lib. Hope this helps. share|improve this answer answered Aug 2 '14 at 18:24 gr1m 14114 This is no package called "libcurl" but I do have "libcurl3". It is not in /usr/lib. Do have anything I could do? –PyRulez Aug 2 '14 at 18:40 its the same thing. libcurl3 is precisely the third major version of the curl libraries –gr1m Aug 5 '14 at 16:15 ad

Can you suggest or help in this direction. Thank you so much. Edit when i tried to install(Curl) from Ubuntu Software center got the same erroe message Package dependencies cannot be resolved This error could be caused by required additional software packages which are missing or not installable. Furthermore there could be a conflict between software packages which are not allowed to be installed at the same
