I am working with MinGW, so I entered my build command (under Project-Properties-C++...) mingw32-make and restarted eclipse, but to no avail, although I the path of mingw/bin is correctly set. Am I still missing something? That's good. I'd recommend getting MSYS if you plan on using MinGW. Even the MinGW guys recognize that the win32 version of make that they ship is troublesome, and let's not even start with

You could have a look into c:\mingw\bin and see if there is a mingw32-make executable and you could try to launch mingw32-make from a windows console. Probably there is something wrong with your mingw installation. Hope that helps, Elrohir share|i

I checked the path variable which is: C:\cygwin\bin; %JAVA_HOME%\bin; not found in %ANT_HOME%\bin; %ANDROID_SDK%\tools; %ANDROID_SDK%\platform-tools; %ANDROID_NDK%; %CommonProgramFiles%\Microsoft Shared\Windows Live; C:\Program Files\NVIDIA Corporation\PhysX\Common; %SystemRoot%\system32; %SystemRoot%; %SystemRoot%\System32\Wbem; %SYSTEMROOT%\System32\WindowsPowerShell\v1.0\; C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\100\Tools\Binn\; C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\100\DTS\Binn\; C:\Program Files\Git\cmd The PATH starts with the folder which contains make (I checked and make.exe is in there), but eclipse still goes Program "make" not found in PATH. I have tried changing the path and restarting several times but nothing seems to change. eclipse makefile share|improve this question edited Jun 16 '14 at 4:10 Jason Aller 2,56171926 asked Jul 20 '12 at 12:12 aerlfredith 3432517 Do you have a make.exe file somewhere in your path, e.g. in C:\cygwin\bin ? You should install GNU make otherwise. –Basile Starynkevitch Jul 20 '12 at 12:14 3 Do not multipost please .
