In Ubuntu + Debian this package is... libmp3lame-dev You can check your system for this file via the command: locate lame/lame.h Which should show something like... /usr/include/lame/lame.h /usr/local/include/lame/lame.h -- Love Living Well Doing What You Love? http://DavidFavor.com/books can help! I couldn't install ffmpeg. I've tried: brew install ffmpeg brew install --use-clang ffmpeg brew install --use-clang --HEAD ffmpeg And they've all failed. I'm experiencing troubles converting video to mp3. I just did a fresh install of ubuntu 12.04. These commands Code: avconv -i test.flv test.mp3 Code: avconv -acodec libmp3lame -i test.flv test.mp3 Code: avconv -acodec libmp3lame0 -i test.flv test.mp3 give all an error. Either Code: Encoder (codec id 0) not found for output stream #0:0 or Code: Unknown encoder 'libmp3lame(0)' On ubuntu 10.04 the second command used to work. Also, the package manager tells me I have the package "libmp3lame0" installed. Does anyone know what I can do? Thanks in advance!
