You might have copied the package from an older one and are making the changes or you might have edited the connection managers. The connection managers are internally used using the GUID that you have mentioned. You might have changed most of the references from the UI, but still there are some objects and tasks, that are referencing the deleted or older connection managers.

Home SQL Server Tutorial Query Tuning Sql Server 2014 SQL Server Queries SSIS Nov 13, 2013 Error at Package: The connection "" is not found. This error is thrown by Connections collection when the specific connection element is not found. In general cause of this error is connection name you have specified is doesn't exist. May be you are assigning a value to a property which is file path or connection string but that property may accept name of connection instead of file path or connection string. For example In case of File System Task suppose you have assigned the property Source = "C:\SSIS" or Destination = "D:\Destination" But both Source and Destination property doesn't accept the path. It accept connection name. So you will get error: Error at Package: The connection "" is not found. This error is thrown by Connections collection when the specific connection element is not found. Solution: To resolve this issue you may have to first create the connection. In this example: Right click on Connection Manager and select New File Connection.
