After running the make command, the output is:Code: Select all[ESD14LX@esd14lx linux]$ make

make: *** [all] Error 2
to face the problem I've installed the packages libpcap(which was already there) and libpcap-devel(which wasn't there). This solved my problem for this session. After

turning off and back on the computer the next week the error after running make shows up again. So i checked if the package is still there:Code: Select all[ESD14LX@esd14lx linux]$ sudo yum install libpcap libpcap-devel

so, that seems to be correct. Moreover:Code: Select allESD14LX@esd14lx linux]$ whereis pcap
pcap: /usr/include/pcap.h /usr/include/pcap /usr/share/man/man3/pcap.3pcap.gz
which seems also ok.This confuses me a bit did i overlooked something? Thanks for the advice!Heiner Top Post Reply Print view 1 post • Page 1 of 1 Return to “CentOS 7 - Software Support” Jump to CentOS General Purpose CentOS - FAQ & Readme First Announcements CentOS Social User Comments Website Problems CentOS 7 CentOS 7 - General Support CentOS 7 - Software Support CentOS 7 - Hardware Support CentOS 7 - Networking Support CentOS
