after configure fails to find winscard.h: checking winscard.h presence... no By looking at $HOME/Library/Logs/Homebrew/opensc/config.log is see that the actual error is error: unknown type name 'LPSCARD_READERSTATE_A'; in /System/Library/Frameworks/PCSC.framework/Headers/winscard.h:90 I replaced LPSCARD_READERSTATE_A with LPSCARD_READERSTATE in /System/Library/Frameworks/PCSC.framework/Headers/winscard.h. I had to do the same in /Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Platforms/MacOSX.platform/Developer/SDKs/MacOSX10.10.sdk/System/Library/Frameworks/PCSC.framework/Versions/Current/Headers/winscard.h. Now it builds and runs! Obviously this is just a temporary workaround, and I libpcslite-dev don't know how to fix it properly. I use MacOSX Yosemite 10.10.1, and I get the same result if I try the latest git version with brew install opensc --HEAD. henrik242 referenced this issue in OpenSC/OpenSC Jan 17, 2015 Closed Build problem with Homebrew in MacOSX, claims that winscard.h is missing #355 henrik242 commented Jan 17, 2015 I tried reproducing this issue on a different machine (also running Yosemite), and there it worked like a charm. So it seems to be a local problem with my machine. henrik242 closed this Jan 17, 2015 xu-cheng locked and limited conversation to collaborators Feb 17, 2016 Sign up for free to subscribe to this conversation on GitHub.
