Xvfb-run Error Xauth Command Not Found Centos
a page to image we will run command: /usr/bin/xvfb-run –server-args=“-screen 0, 1280x1024x24” /usr/local/bin/wkhtmltoimage –use-xserver http://localhost/print/voucher/322?voucher=803 /tmp/tmp1369141170.png 2>&1 After apache call xvfb run xauth command not found an action which have echo shell_exec(’ /usr/bin/xvfb-run –server-args=“-screen 0, 1280x1024x24” /usr/local/bin/wkhtmltoimage –use-xserver http://localhost/print/voucher/322?voucher=803 /tmp/tmp1369141170.png 2>&1’);It throw the error: which: no xauth in ((null)) xvfb-run: error: xauth command not found I go around and cannot see any articles in internet. I go -bash: xauth: command not found linux around and check on the bash script file of xvfb-run and saw the lines: if ! which xauth >/dev/null; thenerror “xauth command not found” exit 3fi Look like they will get the path of xauth with the role of process user/group. On this case, apache dont have enough right/permission so it return null. What I did to fix this issue: 1. Comment out the if statement #if ! which xauth >/dev/null; then#error “xauth command not found”# exit 3#fi 2. replace xauth in the bash script by the absolute path to the file line 156: XAUTHORITY=$AUTHFILE /usr/bin/xauth source - << EOF >>“$ERRORFILE” 2>&1 line 174: XAUTHORITY=$AUTHFILE /usr/bin/xauth remove “:$SERVERNUM” >“$ERRORFILE” 2>&1 And done! centoswebkitxauthxvfb-run May 21, 2013 Older Post Newer Post

I don't know why it's creating a random pdf within /private/var/. I am using Symfony, and it is using version "^2.0" Thanks Owner mikehaertl commented May 13, 2015 That random file is OK, it's deleted after the PDF was downloaded or saved. Can you check if there's maybe some output on stdout: echo $pdf->getCommand()->getOutput()? If you're on Windows, you can also try to set the useExec feature (see here) Owner mikehaertl commented May 13, 2015 Oh, and please also try with a local file first. It seems, that there are frequent issues with remote URLs, especially if it's making heavy use of js like google.com. hiroju commented May 13, 2015 i have same issue(only commandline works well) my develop enviroment is below OS: CentOS 6.6 (64bit) framework: fuelphp 1.8 useExec: false my problem is caused by SELinux if SElinux is enabled, apache sometime cant create any files so, i tried to temporarily disable SElinux, everything works fine please see this http://stackoverflow.com/questions/4216596/php-function-is-executable-returns-false-even-though-the-file-is-definitely-exec/6986511#6986511 Owner mikehaertl commented May 13, 2015 if SElinux is enabled, apache sometime cant create any files Now this is taking us somewhere - thanks for that hint! @craned Can you check if it's the same issue for you? If that's the case, it's nothing we can fix here. We may add a hint to the README, though. mikehaertl referenced this issue May 15, 2015 Closed External webpage issue #52 martindevnow commented May 21, 2015 I was getting the same error.
