vote 6 down vote favorite I know this has been asked a couple of times. I followed instructions from these ones: Adding frameworks to project in Xcode 5 and having *relative* paths added xcode4: Linker error: Directory not found for option Still xcode is giving this error: Here's my current configuration: The bolts framework is so I can use the Parse SDK. I downloaded the framework not found cocoapods blank project from here: https://parse.com/apps/quickstart#parse_data/mobile/ios/native/new It's working. I tried to copy every config it still doesn't work. ios xcode xcode6 ios-frameworks share|improve this question asked Sep 21 '15 at 3:54 Kim Montano 262218 You could use cocoapods instead. github.com/ParsePlatform/Parse-SDK-iOS-OSX –BenJammin Sep 21 '15 at 3:58 add a comment| 3 Answers 3 active oldest votes up vote 6 down vote accepted Try deleting Bolts.framework from linked framework and re-add it. Also, in your Framework Search Path keep path until Bolts.framework like $(PROJECT_DIR)/Bolts if it is inside Bolts folder at your project directory path. share|improve this answer answered Sep 21 '15 at 4:05 Abhinav 18.2k32126240 add a comment| up vote 0 down vote Here is the solution : Turn the "$(PROJECT_DIR)" attribute(might be non-recursive by default) into recursive option in Select Project Click on Targets Click - Build Settings Search for 'Framework Search Path' - Double click the input. Now, when I build for iOS, I get the following error during the linking process: ld: framework not found FBSDKCoreKit for architecture armv7 clang: error: linker command failed with exit code 1 (use -v to see invocation) I am using the Soomla library for framework not found in-app purchases and social integration, as well as Parse for the online database. I believe at least one of these libraries could be responsible for this, since they both contain Facebook-related code. In any case, I can't figure out what I need to try next. Both plugins have been updated to their latest versions. I attempted building with the Mono2x scripting backend first, as usual. Then, I tried changing it to IL2CPP and tried compiling for armv7, arm64, and the Universal architecture options. Nothing worked. I also tried manually adding the FBSDKCoreKit framework file downloaded from https://developers.facebook.com/docs/ios. This also didn't work, except this time I got a slightly different error: ld: framework not found FBSDKCoreKit clang: error: linker command failed with exit code 1 (use -v to see invocation) I'm not sure why it would say this when I explicitly add the framework into the Xcode project. Could anyone give me any insight? UPDATE: Following @fraoula's advice, I added the download directory of the Facebook SDK files to the Framework Search Paths under the Xcode Build Settings. By doing so, it appears that the likelihood of the issue ultimately being caused by the Soomla plugin has risen. Here are the new linker errors: ld: warning: Auto-Linking supplied '/Users/willseph/Downloads/Chrome/FacebookSDKs-iOS-20151007/FBSDKCoreKit.framework/FBSDKCoreKit', framework linker option at /Users/willseph/Downloads/Chrome/FacebookSDKs-iOS-20151007/FBSDKCoreKit.framewor

I currently have project that is a cross platform (tvOS, OSX, iOS) spritekit game with unit/ui test targets as well for each and there always seems to be problems with test targets. Here is my current Podfile and I have tried getting things to work with both 0.39.0 and 1.0.0.beta.3 neither will work. source 'https://github.com/CocoaPods/Specs.git' use_frameworks! def shared_pods pod 'Fabric' pod 'Crashlytics' end def shared_testing_pods pod 'Quick' pod 'Nimble' end #################################### ################ iOS ############### #################################### target 'iOS' do platform :ios, '8.0' shared_pods target 'iOSTests' do inherit! :search_paths shared_testing_pods end target 'iOSUITests' do inherit! :search_paths shared_testing_pods end end #################################### ################ tvOS ############## #################################### target 'tvOS' do platform :tvos, '9.0' shared_pods target 'tvOSTests' do inherit! :search_paths shared_testing_pods end target 'tvOSUITests' do inherit! :search_paths shared_testing_pods end end #################################### ################ OSX ############### #################################### target 'OSX' do platform :osx, '10.10' shared_pods target 'OSXTests' do inherit! :search_paths shared_testing_pods end target 'OSXUITests' do inherit! :search_paths shared_testing_pods end end Its also not very clear what support there is for framework dependencies in UI test targets. PGLongo commented Feb 14, 2016 Same problem for me adding the same pod in App target and AppWatch Extension I got No such module error on the second target. I've "resolved" in this way pod deintegrate uninstall current pod version and all the plugins (gem list --local | grep cocoapods and then uninstall them) reinstalling 1.0.0.beta.1 pod update lifcio commented Feb 19, 2016 @PGLongo Thanks, that solved it for me. I also managed to find missing frameworks, but I'm not sure why did they land there... Instead of
