Here's how to fix it! By Daniel Bader Tuesday, Oct 4, 2016 at 11:01 am EDT 89 Comments Don't let GPS errors stop you from playing Pokémon Go! Pokémon Go is everywhere, and that's great for Android gamers around the world (or at least in the countries the game has launched. But if you're getting a "GPS signal not found" error when you launch the game, here's how to fix it! GPS errors? First, make sure GPS is enabled! Many Android phones come with their GPS radios turned off by default in order to save battery life, since the technology is very battery-intensive. Here's how to turn it on. Note: This example was done on a Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, but these steps should apply to most Android devices running Android 5.0 Lollipop or higher. Tap on your phone's Settings icon or access Settings through Quick Settings. Scroll down to Privacy and safety. Tap on it. Tap on Location. Make sure Location toggle is in the on position. Tap on Locating method. This may also be called Location mode. Tap GPS, Wi-Fi, and mobile networks. This may also be called High accuracy. Ensure that Wi-Fi is also turned on throughout the game, even if your phone is not connected to a network. Pokémon Go uses both local Wi-Fi (also known as Assistive GPS)

However, the "Bluetooth Server (SCN 25)" in "Active output" screen shows an error "[10029](Manager)Could not find Bluetooth", and my PC cannot find the GPS via bluetooth. I had GpsGate installed on my previous Windows Mobile phone, and my PC could connect to it just fine using Bluetooth. Is this because GpsGate doesn't support the WiddComm bluetooth stack that is used in the HD2? Is there a workaround? gregw Posts: 2 Joined: Tue Feb 23, 2010 9:38 am RE: GpsGate Bluetooth Error on HTC HD2 Quote Fri Feb 26, 2010 7:08 am For those of you who have the same problem as me, trying to use GpsGate to reroute your GPS signal to Bluetooth on the HD2 or other phones that use the Widcomm Bluetooth stack, you will need to uninstall GpsGate, then install GPS2Blue instead. GPS2Blue is also freeware, so there isn't any additional expenses involved here. [:D] For the HD2, set your GPS at COM4, Speed at 4800 or higher, check the BT box, an

Bought an HD2 about a year ago, to summarise it's been http://androidforums.com/threads/htc-hd2-2-2-gps.306419/ back to HTC six times as the in call audio quality was appalling eg overloaded, distorted, hissy, clicky and many other adjectives, in short - rubbish. Argued with HTC that although I was perfectly happy with it as a device it wasn't fit for purpose as a Telephone which was the one thing it should have excelled at - Trading Standards + Phone Supplier not found + HTC = large circular conversation where Trading Standards proved to be toothless and HTC and the supplier said they couldn't do anything and I was stuck with it. Upshot of this was about to chuck it on Ebay but decided to install Android 2.2 instead. Revelation! Not only is the OS superb and a joy to use but the installation has cured all gps signal not the audio problems. So I've gone from a phone I nearly chucked to something that's not only extremely useable but rather excellent. Only issue I have is the GPS doesn't seem to work. Does anyone have an idea? GPS can be switched on, sat dish symbol appears at the top and screen and flashes but it tells me it can't determine my position. Cell info puts it with 3200 metres but GPS exact fix not possible. It has worked but taken about 15 mins t
