Groomed zero KB from Backup Set blerg. Grooming Backup Set blerg failed, error -1101 ( file/directory not found) You must recreate the Backup Set's Catalog File. See the Retrospect User's Guide or online help for details on recreating Catalog Files. Can't compress Catalog File for Backup Set blerg, error -1 ( unknown) v-79-57344-65033 In the past, to correct these issues, I've done the following: * create a backup set called blerg_copy * change the nightly script to use blerg_copy, not blerg * after a period of retention, remove blerg. However, these issues keep appearing. I believe they may be hardware related (issues with incomplete backups, forced hardware restarts), but I'm unsure how best to address these grooming failures. Is my above approach accurate? I have attempted a backup set transfer, but on a 500GB backup set, I encounter in excess of 11,000 errors in 6 hours of processing, so I cancelled the execution.
