Iis 8 404 Error
is fine. Aug 25, 2011 12:21 PM|Ren_kun|LINK I have an address of "minecraft.pointto.us" and accessing the site is fine when viewed externally (Say on my 3G enabled phone) however when typing in localhost in the browser i get a 404 error. Does anyone know where im going wrong? Before i could access it but now it seems to be broken. 1.

When I tried from http://localhost it shows IIS home https://forums.iis.net/t/1181100.aspx?IIS+7+http+localhost+gives+404+error+But+viewing+externally+is+fine+ page . When I tried the same with from remote machine http://machinename, I get 404 page not found error. When I pinged IIS machine, it was successful and telnet also worked. I don't know what is the issue.
