URL Example: www.mysite.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=category&layout=blog&id=1&Itemid=10 The option=com_content part means that the component of this page is the Content component. share|improve this answer answered Nov 12 '14 at 10:34 FFrewin 11.7k32652 add a comment| up vote 1 down vote Configure the "System - Debug" plugin to log category jerror, to show log entries and enable debug in Global Configuration. How to enable SEF links in Joomla? 0.00 (0 votes) After clean Joomla or quickstart installation there may occur that subpages don't work properly and you keep getting "no input file specified" or "404 - component not found" error messages on front-end while navigating a menu. This issue is related to the server configuration and has nothing to do with Joomla 3.x/2.5 or quickstart package.Search Engine Friendly URLs & Use URL rewritingThe option Search Engine Friendly URLs is set to YES by default after Joomla installation.
