Restoring Network Connections
File Server Last response: 19 June 2014 22:27 in Networking Share AT02 error code 0x80070035 windows 10 19 June 2014 21:35:11 In a small law office we have 3 desktops running Windows 7 and one Server. the network name cannot be found windows 7 1 of the desktops is new and I can't for the life of me get it to map to file server. It needs to connect to the file servers P drive http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-networking/windows-7-mapping-network-drive-error-error-code/ec66e7e8-2613-4925-bbc3-72067c9d92f9 and a folder named "Client Files" on the E drive. I have added the new desktop to the domain which is "tims.local" I have turned on network discovery and file sharing. When I go to map the drive and browse it can see the file server named "officemngr" however not any of the drives or folder. When I try and just type http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-2187741/mapping-network-drive-path-error.html it in and search it, it says something along the lines of"Network Path cannot be found or may be misspelled ". Not sure what I am missing. Can anyone of you help me? We're desperate. Thanks! I receive the following error: The local device name is already in use. I have the problem to find which purpose the device is used for. I try a command net use and do not see it in the list, therefore, it is not mapped to a network resource.
