I ran the Get-OwaVirtualDirectory | select name, server, internalurl, externalurl | fl I get: Name: owa (default website) server: XYZSERVER Internalurl: https://zyzserver.xyz.local/owa externalurl: nothing there 0 Chipotle OP Martin1718 Feb 20, 2014 at 3:08 UTC you'll need to set the externalurl in that case, you can either do this through the EMC or powershell PowershellSet-OWAVirtualDirectory –Identity “owa (default web site)” -ExternalURL https:// 0 Poblano OP unrealone Feb 20, 2014 at 3:44 UTC Done that, external link is now present when I run the command. I still get the http error though, any thoughts? 0 Jalapeno OP G_Hughes Feb 20, 2014 at 4:58 UTC Is your external URL the same as your domain name? Internal Domain name : mycompany.com then your External address is mail.mycompany.com If so you would need to create a DNS entry on your Domain Controller (DNS Server) for mail. that points to your server. 0 Poblano OP unrealone Feb 20, 2014 at 9:54 UTC @g_hughes internal domain is xyzdomain.local external web domain is xyzcompany.co.uk any way, I added an A record for exchange.xyzcompany.co.uk to point to the excha

Join Now 2003/2010 coexistence environment. MBX/CAS/HUB roles, each on its own server. Accessing email via Outlook 2010 / BlackBerry is fine. For 2010 mailboxes, accessing OWA gives subject error. 2003 mailboxes are ok. When I authenticate, the browser jumps to https://exch10mbx1.domain.local/exchange, with error:
"404 - File or directory not found. The resource you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed, not found or is temporarily unavailable." I was thinking, wasn't my OWA supposed to be off the CAS server? That's what I see when I enter get-owavirtualdirectory - shows the CAS server. When I point browser to CAS, "IE cannot display the webpage". When I try it locally on CAS as https://localhost/owa, same "cannot display" error. mail.domain.com got a dns entry to point to CAS IP. I've removed/recreated OWA through the file or directory EMS. I've restarted the server, restarted IIS individually multiple times. Ideas? Thanks all for your time. No success yet. The owa is within default web site, and it's started. 0 Mace OP Jay6111 Oct 3, 2011 at 7:39 UTC OK, then I think you should try to re-create the virtual directory, http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff629372.aspx Make sure to do an issreset from a command prompt once complete and test again. -Jay 0 Tabasco OP jffnuggets Oct 4, 2011 at 8:35 UTC Jay6111 wrote: OK, then I think you should try to re-create the virtual directory, http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff629372.aspx Make sure to do an issreset from a command prompt once complete and test again. -Jay That's what I meant when I said "I've removed/recreated OW
