They're not installed by default, so unless you explicitly did, you probably don't. Try running: pacman -Sy linux-headers and see what happens. Also, does the kernel version you have match with what you're trying to run against it? If the above doesn't fix the problem, please post the output of uname -a share|improve this answer answered Feb 24 '14 at 0:29 Josh Hebert 714 Warning: When installing packages in Arch, avoid refreshing the package list without upgrading the system (for example, when a package is no longer found in the official repositories). In practice, do not run pacman -Sy package_name instead of pacman -Syu package_name, as this could lead to depend

The solution is to run depmod $ depmod 3.14.4-1-ARCH After running modprobe again, it should work. You can use uname -r to find your kernel version string. Before updating, check that you have the package linux-headers installed. Then, update your system but please, check out for any message that pacman shows. Check that zfs and spl modules are updated before rebooting. Cheers! karasu | , last edited by karasu Quote Reply Like 0 G g33k thank you for your reply…i have pacman -Qs linux-headers local/linux-headers 4.4.5-1 installed.
