In order to make sure I don't use features that won't work in production, I want to install the older version instead of 5.5. I downloaded the PHP-5.3.28 source tarball, but when I ran the configure script, it says: configure: error: xml2-config not found. Please check your libxml2 installation. Executing dpkg -l *xml* returns: Desired=Unknown/Install/Remove/Purge/Hold | Status=Not/Inst/Conf-files/Unpacked/halF-conf/Half-inst/trig-aWait/Trig-pend |/ Err?=(none)/Reinst-required (Status,Err: uppercase=bad) ||/ Name Version Architecture Description +++-===============================-====================-====================-=================================================================== un docbk-xml
