But that is also weird as I upgraded Oracle client and SQL developer about 2 months ago and it's been working all fine with other applications.I resist the idea I may have to re-install it - any clue what may be going wrong? Many thanks 3179Views Categories: Data Sources & Connections Tags: none (add) oracle_connectionContent tagged with oracle_connection, command not found connection_errorContent tagged with connection_error This content has been marked as final. In case anybody finds the same issue, I got it working by:upgrading the Oracle “Instant Client" to 12.1 (I had V10 for some reason)unzip it to the Oracle folder in my system and add the sub-folder to the environment variable “Path"re-start Tableau (didn't work the first time though…) Like Show 0 Likes(0) Actions 2. Re: Connection error 127 Matt Lutton May 19, 2014 7:35 AM (in response to Ruben Gorena) Hi Ruben: be sure to mark your thread "answered" in some way (you can mark your original question "assumed answered" or mark your reply as the "correct answer"); this helps keep the forum a bit "cleaner" and allows other forum members and/or helpers to see that you've found a solution. Cheers! Like Show 1 Likes(1) Actions 3.
